A safer,
less complicated
night out
WYA is the “Designated Driver” of the nightlife experience, helping nightlifers find the best happy hours, events, and bars in their area while intimately connecting local hotspots with their customers.
My role as Lead + The WYA Story
After moving across the country after college, I found myself bonding with other transplants on the exhausting experience of getting to know the small business landscape in my new city. From tracking down a jazz club that plays live music, to finding the best Happy Hour deals in my neighborhood, I spent more time on Google than in person discovering my new favorite haunts.
As I stood outside in the cold scrolling through Google Maps on yet another Saturday evening, it dawned on me that there is a vast disconnect between nightlife venues and their customers.
The customer experience is imperative in a small business’ growth. From initial discovery to developing relationships with regulars, nightlife venues need a place to connect with their customers.
Enter: WYA. Our incredible team has spent over 2 years pursuing the vision of an elevated, logistically sound nightlife experience where safety, inclusion, and intuitive logistics go hand in hand with the nightlife experience.
WYA’s Vendor App
The vendor app was created with small businesses top of mind, creating a cohesive connection to a nightlife establishment’s customer base in one simplified portal.
Here, nightlife leaders can track statistics throughout the evening - from understanding what deals drive Happy Hour traffic, to a snapshot of what is happening at other bars in the neighborhood.
WYA’s On My Way Launch Campaign
I managed a team to develop vision and storyboard, then filmed all content as part of WYA’s “On My Way” Launch Campaign in 2019.
Below is the detailed campaign (and a peek into our past branding iterations). As team lead, I spearheaded the discovery campaign strategy and developed all visuals, including document layout and campaign collateral.
